Mardi Gras will be celebrated by the children and their teachers. This will include sharing a king cake at lunch and catching beads during group gathering time, otherwise, it is a normal school day. Volunteer Needed: Provide themed plates, napkins and cutlery.

Valentines Day is celebrated by the children and their teachers. Each child should bring a valentine for each of their classmates. There should not be an addressee on these, only the giving child's name. They will hand deliver, and this makes it work. If sending treats, remember, no chocolate (dairy allergies) and no nuts. This is a day the children and their teachers will celebrate our Texas heritage. We will have a petting zoo and pony rides. Children should come dressed in their cowboy duds. We will have barbeque chicken sliders, coleslaw, and baked beans for lunch.
